What we cover
You'll find calculators and guides for savings and compound interest, loans and mortgages, retirement accounts, stocks and funds, crypto, real estate, insurance and small business. Our content is written for a US audience.
How we build the calculators
Every calculator runs on the same math engine, and we test it each time we build the site. Automated tests check results against worked answers, so a formula only changes when we mean to change it.
Stock and fund prices are monthly and adjusted for splits and dividends. Coin prices are daily and cover the past 12 months. We save these prices to the site once a day, so what you see can lag the market.
How we make money
The site is free because of advertising. We show ads, and some pages may include affiliate links. Our affiliate disclosure explains how that works. Ads and offers don't change what a calculator tells you.
What we can't do
Our results are hypothetical and for information only. We don't give investment, legal or tax advice, so please talk to a licensed adviser about your own situation.
